As from this year, as a participant of the European Youth Media Days 2008, you will feel even more welcome and enjoy your visit to Brussels thanks to a collaboration with the Brussels Convention and Visitors Bureau (BI-TC).
BI-TC has developed a series of hosting initiatives so that you will be benefit from a personalized assistance as soon as you arrive on the Brussels ground or even before your departure:
Brussels Airport and Gare du Midi (rail station)
As soon as you get to the baggage reclaim (airport) or arrival hall (station), look out for the "BITC-European Youth Media Days" welcome desk. Smiling staff will assist you with first information about how to reach your hostel, visitors information, maps, assistance for your stay, etc.
Before your departure to Brussels
While you are preparing your travel to Brussels, please have a look on the BI-TC website. There you'll find a whole range of information about what to do and how to enjoy your stay besides the EYMD programme.
Feel free to also contact one of the Brussels TOF people and get advice from a native from your own country. TOF People are EU nationals, from all 27 members states, who live in Brussels and can share their love of the city with you, in your own language.
